  1. this is powerful. I also love this technique that you are using. do you have any tips about how you go about this – choosing a piece to redact and the visual component as well? I scanned through a few of your poems and I am really struck by the process.

    • Wow, thanks so much for dropping by and for leaving a comment! I can’t take credit for the technique; some lovely redacters launched the style before me, and I owe them a debt of gratitude. A few key things to think about when redacting: 1) make sure the text you’re going to redact is in the public domain, 2) look for some lovely words, especially words with double meanings, and 3) really enjoy the “zen” of choosing which words to strike.
